Fraser Coast Master Men Nominations NOW OPEN

31/03/2019: Nominations are now open for the Fraser Coast Masters Men's teams for 2019. The 40+ and 50+ Championships will be held in Ipswich over the May Long Weekend and the 35+ will be held in Maryborough on 1 and 2 of June. Nominating online is a first for the Masters Men, so all you have to do is click on the link on the home page and follow the prompts. 19/3/2019: Fixtures for the next 4 weeks are now available. Clubs are reminded that Canteen/Office Roster now includes Wednesday Nights. Go to Playing > Draws and Umpires for more information. There will only be Senior Fixtures on WE 13/4/19 and no hockey at all on Saturday 20/4/19 due to school holidays and Easter. NOTE: Div 3 Men will be playing on Wednesday 17/4/19.

Vale Bevin Warren - 13/05/17 Aged 90

14/05/17: The Maryborough hockey community is mourning the loss one of its Life Members. Bevin Warren was bestowed with a Life Membership of the Maryborough & District Hockey Association in 1991, after having been presented with a Service Award in 1981. Bevin’s involvement in Hockey in Maryborough commenced long before the move from Doon Villa to Woodstock Street, way back in the 1950’s. Bevin started his hockey life with Wallaroos and later as a long-time member of the Granville Hockey Club. Click on 'Read Full Article' for Bevin's story.

Vale Ron Heselwood

31/12/15: Departed this life on 23 December 2015 aged 83. Ron Heselwood was a Life Member of the Maryborough & District Hockey Association. He received this honour in 1989, after a lifetime of dedication to the sport that he (and his family) loved. Proof of his family’s love of the sport saw his wife June given a similar honour in 1992. Each of his 4 boys played hockey with 2 of them receiving state honours. The Heselwood name has featured on a number of levels in the history of the MDHA.
