06/09/2019: Indoor Hockey is about to start. Week commencing 9 September will be come and try days. If you would like to play again, have never played or just want to have a go, come along this week and see what it's all about. Fraser Coast U15 Rep Teams

22/08/19: The Fraser Coast Under 15 Boys and Girls Rep Teams for the upcoming State Championships have been announced. The Boys play in Warwick and the Girls in Gladstone from 22-25 September 2019. Profile: Cheryll Brown Life Member and President Uniteds

21/05/2019: Today the MDHA would like to present the next in our series of profiles from our affiliated clubs. Cheryll Brown is currently the President of Uniteds Hockey Club as well as one of their Life Members. Cheryll can be seen at the MDHA fields every Saturday, and has spent more than 50 years working not only for her club, but also the MDHA and Hockey Queensland. Vale Bevin Warren - 13/05/17 Aged 90

14/05/17: The Maryborough hockey community is mourning the loss one of its Life Members. Bevin Warren was bestowed with a Life Membership of the Maryborough & District Hockey Association in 1991, after having been presented with a Service Award in 1981. Bevin’s involvement in Hockey in Maryborough commenced long before the move from Doon Villa to Woodstock Street, way back in the 1950’s. Bevin started his hockey life with Wallaroos and later as a long-time member of the Granville Hockey Club. Click on 'Read Full Article' for Bevin's story.

Vale Ron Heselwood

31/12/15: Departed this life on 23 December 2015 aged 83. Ron Heselwood was a Life Member of the Maryborough & District Hockey Association. He received this honour in 1989, after a lifetime of dedication to the sport that he (and his family) loved. Proof of his family’s love of the sport saw his wife June given a similar honour in 1992. Each of his 4 boys played hockey with 2 of them receiving state honours. The Heselwood name has featured on a number of levels in the history of the MDHA. Vale Jim Wroe (14/09/40 - 17/09/15)

19/9/15: The Maryborough hockey community is mourning the loss of a favourite son. Jim Wroe was one of nature’s true gentleman. He was a life member not only of the Maryborough & District Hockey Association, but also of his beloved Wallaroos. A life member in every respect of the word, Jim was still active with the MDHA and Wallaroos. Until only a few weeks ago, you would find Jim working behind the bar at the hockey fields on a Saturday.
