19/07/17: Two Masters Women's teams will be competing at the State Championships at Gympie from Friday 21 July to Sunday 23 July. This is the largest State Championship with 45 teams competing in 6 Divisions. The No 1 team is in Div 1 competing against the best teams in the state. The No 2 teams is in Div 4. Special good luck to the No 2 team who play at 7.15am with a low of 4 degrees predicted....ouch!

U11s at play at Sunny Coast

16/07/17: Congratulations to both the girls and boys teams who had a great day at the Sunny Coast competing at the Wide Bay Championships (Zone). These teams had a very busy day playing teams from Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg, Gympie and Hervey Bay. The girls were undefeated scoring an amazing 28 goals and only 1 against in their 5 games. The boys played some tough opposition and only lost by 1 goal in 2 games. For many of these players this was their first experience at rep hockey and they all did Maryborough proud. U15 Nominations extended for Fraser Coast

19/07/17: Nomination have been extended and now close 26 July for players to be selected to compete at the State Championships from Sun 17 Sept - Wed 20 Sept. . Boys at Rockhampton and girls at Ipswich. Players nominating are required to complete and submit a nomination form and pay $50 nomination fee. Go to the 'Rep - Fraser Coast' menu then 'Rep Info 2017' for the Nomination Form and more info including training times. Also seeking any person/s interested in attending the championships as an umpire for these teams.

Wrap up of the 13s Girls State Championships

08/07/17: What a great 4 days of hockey! This championship could not have been as successful as it was without the help from its members and volunteers. All clubs did an amazing effort to ensure enough helpers were on board at all times. To see the clubs working so closely together and helping each other out was also great to see. Congrats to players selected in U13s State Teams

08/07/17: What a great result to have so many Maryborough players chosen in state teams. Congratulations to Taj, Ryan, Ben, Andie G, Maddy, Andie S, Annelyse and Taryn. These players will travel to Perth in Sept/Oct to compete at the Australian Championships. Congratulations also to Braxton Sheppard for receiving her umpire accreditation - HA Community Umpire. It was also an honour for Anniston Chappell to have umpired the Div 1 Final and Vicki Warren to be the Tech Official on this game. Well done!

U13 State Cships come to an end

04/07/17: The Fraser Coast is extremely proud of our 4 teams who competed at the U13 State Championships. The placings were: Boys No 1 4th; Boys No 2 6th; Girls No 1 3rd; Girls No 2 6th. Both the No 1 teams played in the semis and were extremely unfortunate to lose these games. Our No 1 teams competed in Div 1 so the competition was extremely fierce. The players in the No 2 teams showed determination and effort in every game and for many of these players this was their first experience at State Championships. Well done to you all! Congratulations Ben and Maddy

04/07/17: At the conclusion of the U13 State Championships Ben Redmond was named 'Goalkeeper of the Tournament' and Maddy Kenny was named 'Player of Tournament'. Ben is a very talented goalkeeper and made some incredible saves throughout the championships. Maddy is a star forward who has an enormous amount of talent and scored some amazing goals during the championships. These young players have a great future ahead of them and their efforts and determination have been rewarded. Well done to you both!

U18s at State Championships

27/06/17: Our U18s have returned from the State Championships in Toowoomba and Tweed. The women finished 7th in Div 1 which was an improvement from last year. The Men's No 1 team finished 5th in Div 1. These teams competed against the best teams in the state. The Men's No 2 team finished 8th in D2/3. Well done to these teams who did the Fraser Coast proud. Qld honours to Taryn, Meka and Preston

18/06/17: A number of our Maryborough players were selected in the Wide Bay Team to compete in the Qld Primary School Championship in Brisbane. The boys finished the championship in 5th and the girls 7th. Congratulations to Taryn Knight, Meka Crick, Preston Mushan for their selection in the Qld team and Leila Steffen as shadow. These players will travel to Adelaide in December to the Aust School Championships. What a great representation of Maryborough players in this Wide Bay Team. Well done to you all!
